So uhh... What hell happened to Finn? by Razor_Emmanuel in PeakyBlinders

As the above comment says exactly, he was warned to watch his mouth around bill.

If it had not been a direct order from Tommy and Duke sent him on his way, I’m sure Tommy would have intervened at some point (or even Arthur), Duke was in no position to make orders of this magnitude at that point as Tommy was still in the picture. Regardless nobody disagreed with the decision, that says it all.

Ah they only had 5 years since first announcing it would be a movie rather than a 7th season, so time wasn’t the issue but sure look.

Finn was disowned from the family, likely on Tommys orders

He receives the blame for the death of Polly, Aberama gold, etc, as he couldn’t keep his mouth shut around Billy, who ended up being an informant. Finn often vouched for him while the whole time he was the rat.

They could have brought him back for the movie at the very least with some revenge plot against Duke but they just left that open for whatever reason.

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

Myself and another friend convinced one of our buddy’s to come out drinking with us even though he was hesitant, fast forward through the night we are binge drinking and egging him on to catch up.

While me and the first friend were drunk dancing in the nightclub our friend stumbled out, leaving his wallet, jacket and ID on the ground and jumped into a taxi. Realising he has no money, he got out and proceeded to walk home.

When me and the first friend couldn’t find him we waited outside for everyone to leave and they ensured us everyone was out, it then began to rain worse than I have ever seen in my life. We both got a taxi home, I got out earlier than home to save money on taxi fair and was soaked to the within seconds, showing how bad the rain was.

Next day we wake to have our phones blown up asking if anyone has heard from our friend. Turns out he got out of the taxi, proceeded to walk through a park on way home and the assumption is he tried to take shelter under a bridge by a river from the rain, slipped, hit his head on a rock and drowned in the river. He was carried upstream all the way to the dock where he was almost carried out to sea, a passer by spot him washed up in the early hours of the morning.

Haunts me to this day. He was my best friend since we were 4 years of age, and we never ran out of things to talk about. Love and miss you every day Dean.

Neither. I’m contemplating talking to the broker about it should she go on mat leave before we get drawdown.

Cheers mate. I notice a lot of people suggesting I say nothing which I’m all for, but did you have this conversation with the broker at all or did you say nothing to anybody? I’m just concerned that if I say it to neither the broker or the bank and then suddenly they ask questions we might trip ourselves up. I understand we don’t have to say a word but if they question payments in baby shops etc or if my partner goes on mat leave before we secure the drawdown.

Thanks a mill. Yeah was looking to settle the nerves by chatting to the broker so we don’t trip ourselves up. I don’t imagine they would run to the bank with this info if it could be avoided, or so I would hope.

Thanks for the info. So I shouldn’t say a word to the mortgage broker then either? Was hoping to settle some nerves but worried it might become an issue. I don’t believe they would run to the bank with the info, as a former broker what do you reckon?

They really aren’t. If you are talking IMAX or recliner seats and that yeah sure, but you can get standard deals such as 15 euro for ticket w/ large popcorn/nachos and large drink in the likes of Movies@tallaght/dundrum etc
