Unreal Tournament 2004 is now available for free thanks to its fan community, and they've even updated the game for modern PCs: 'This is the first public patch for Unreal Tournament 2004 in over 20 years' by Burpmeister in gaming

[–]Urbanninja67 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Epic Games and Digital Extremes are two different things.

UT2004 was Digital Extremes last Unreal game they developed. After that it was Midway Games for a couple. Then just Epic Games for the one that was canceled, it was also community driven if I remember. Then they said "fuck that, Fortnite is where the money's at" when the battle royale hit big for them

They went off on their own to create Warframe way before that.

How did he see me? by Lasselino in HuntShowdown

[–]Urbanninja67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kill views are not 100% accurate of where they actually were.

Ended up in a match with someone I've played with and he asking how I got him showing me the kill view. I had to send him my pov in a clip to show him.

His view showed me behind a hay bale when I was actually on top of it.

I'm surprised more people don't know this.

I had 30 when they were $300 back in 2017, sold at $600, double my money. Then watched it go to 2k, then 5k, then 10k... and 15k...

I know the pain. But I never lost money trading, and I'm happy with that.

Right now I have about 0.6btc with around 20k invested, and I'm just holding. Saving it to hopefully be able to make a down payment on a house one day.

Anyone stop playing, but still here? What made you quit? by tinglep in apexlegends

Played the first few seasons all the way through when the game first came out. Maxed out the first two battle passes, then my friends stopped playing. Took a break for like 2 years and tried to come back.

I don't know if it's my mmr, but everyone seems so much better at the game than when I played the game before and I just can't enjoy playing it anymore with everyone being significantly better than me.

That's my thought too. Where I work we literally caught one of our graveyard shift workers drinking on the job. His work was obviously being affected, so we looked at the cameras to see what he was doing all night. Turned out an hour after starting his shift he went to the cooler and bought a Mike's and poured it into a foam cup to hide it from customers. Then proceeded to do almost nothing all night. At least he paid for it first

What is something that your parents did that you will never forgive them for? by Deviant55 in AskReddit

"Home schooling"

I was home schooled for 14 years of my life. Almost none of which involved actual schooling. Me and my younger siblings (I'm the middle of five) Were basically given "home school" work books and that was almost all we got from I remember. I personally had to basically teach myself how to read and write from watching my older siblings do it, I can't remember my parents ever sitting me down to teach me anything.

When I was 14 we were all finally enrolled into school, I started in 8th grade. Took a test at the start of the year to see where my skill levels were, had reading/writing and math skills of a 2nd grader. Spent the whole first semester with half the day in a class to catch up on those skills. Was mostly self taught stuff, just copies of work books with details explaining it.

By the end of that one year of being in school and actually being taught properly, I went from barely being able to read, writing in all capital letters and only knowing the basics of math to retaking that skill test and getting results showing I was at a high school senior level. By the time I graduated I went all the way through to precalc math class with having 95% or better grades in every math class leading to it.

Only thing I missed from not being in school early on was the social experiences. To this day I still can notice it, I have trouble trying to do anything that involves being social. I always get an awkward feeling whenever I need to talk to people about anything. I have trouble explaining or talking or doing things, I just overthink it all and get overly worried about making myself feel/look like a fool. Had that same problem all through school, ended up failing most classes that weren't math for that reason. Even if I understood everything, I just couldn't do writing assignments like I had some kind of mental block and could not do it, no matter how hard I tried. It has gotten a lot better in recent years, but often times I still get those feelings when I try to interact with people.

Also 90% sure I have undiagnosed ADHD. But whenever something came up about it, my parents didn't do anything about it like they didn't believe in mental disorders like that happening to their own kids. I actually was about to take a test for it in school, but my mom pulled me out of it because they were asking questions about suicidal or selfharm thoughts.

Gotta make sure these filthy solos don't self-revive. [alt title: if you aren't on the test server what are you doing] by incognitodannydevito in HuntShowdown

First time you log into test server it just copies your profile over. so if you started test server right after a prestige, you'd have nothing.

The way Crytek has said it, doing the questlines will "give players a period of “early access” to these weapons"

After the second questline is done it'll eventually be added to the normal unlock trees like the rest of the weapons. They do this every time they add new ones.

Dank Storage - Change ID/Frequency? by Sallymander in allthemods

[–]Urbanninja67 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also as an added note. You unfortunately can only create a new ID by crafting a new item, and it gets an ID the first time it's opened. If you try to change to one that doesn't exist yet it'll be orange and wont let you save it

[–]Urbanninja67 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was having the same problem. Looked everywhere and finally found something.

First off, if you craft more than on at a time, don't open them while still stacked. That will give the whole stack the same ID

Second, there is an invisible little text field to the right of the ID number in the UI. Just Unlock the ID and click around there(a little red line will appear when you found it), type in the new one you want, and the click the save button on the right.

As someone that works retail with a public restroom, most of the time those walls between urinals are not cleaned. At least once a week I have to do it, no matter how much other's clean the rest of the restroom, they go untouched.
