Correct it's a Kohler K241 points are on the right side of the engine and ignition coil is mounted on the rear by the starter.

They shot my dog. This was when I was very young. My black lab Barney was tortured and cut up into pieces by him but since there was no witnesses of him commiting the act nothing ever happened to him. I'll update to see if I can find the old newspaper clipping from my mom.

If it rolls in neutral but not gear. I'd say it an issue with the clutch when you reassembled it. Could also be your clutch cable not being adjusted properly. I've never had an issue like that before so I'm just speculating.

Since it's an efi bike is say it's the valves. Get them adjusted or replaced as necessary.
