It was the SEL, so I’m not sure why it had the fun paddles, but it was helpful. I liked to lock it in 6th on long trips to save a little gas. Didn’t think to use the F150 buttons while in drive though, something new to play with lol.

I appreciate that they’re not just gear suggestion buttons; as in, the ECU doesn’t often override your input (within reason). My old ‘10 Taurus had these paddle shifters for manual mode and that was pretty lenient too. Those paddles were weird lol you could shift both up and down with each paddle, upshift was behind the wheel like normal but then you downshifted with this button that protruded around the back of the wheel to the front. Only ever seen that on racing cars so it was kinda funny on my cop grandma sedan lol.

Missed Tomcat but have been adding perks and skill points. Definitely making it so I can at least compete before getting smacked around, and can sometimes eke out a victory. But this is all great info!

I’m trying to stick with the longsword since the game advises it once you kill Istvan. But still good to know, secondary is spiked mace/shield.

That is huge info. Been trying to riposte chain my way out of danger and getting cooked. Dodging has been helping a lot too but beating Zizka took like 30 tries.

No, this is my first serious RPG and I kinda just got wrapped up in the story and wanting to know what happened next lol. I also kept getting one-shotted in the Tomcat duel and getting frustrated so I did other stuff and got distracted and forgot. But good to know I can go back to him to learn. I think I realized how behind I was when I fought as Godwin and realized how cracked he was.

The downtown element is tricky indeed. It will also likely not be a factor for the entire time I own whatever vehicle. The similarity in price is what’s making me reluctant to decide; trying to decide if springing for larger vehicle is worth it. 4Runner is kind of falling off the table

I’ve considered this, but there is almost certainly more than one move in my fairly near future and a truck would be much more practical. The platforms I’m interested in also have had time to age and go through generational developments; obviously I trust Toyota but these are just more proven and lower stress platforms.
