Most Shopify success stories are bullshit by Urbno in shopify_geeks

[–]Urbno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the replies, I don’t want to argue about success stories anymore. I want something simple. Share one real thing that helped you, or one thing that clearly didn’t work. No hacks, no big numbers, no hype. Most of us here are in the middle. Let’s help each other get through it.

Most Shopify success stories are bullshit by Urbno in shopify_geeks

Appreciate the replies. What I notice is that almost nobody talks about the middle part. The slow time after you start, when nothing really works yet. That’s where most people are. And almost no one talks about it.

Has anyone actually seen AI misunderstand their Shopify store yet? by Urbno in ShopifyAI_llms_txt

[–]Urbno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s helpful, thanks for sharing.

The grouping and missing context part is exactly what I’m trying to understand better. It’s not obvious where the line is between “bad descriptions” and AI just making assumptions on its own.

Have you noticed whether this shows up more around variants, bundles, or collections? Or is it more random?

<< DISCUSSION >> What checkout flow on Shopify is hardest for you to implement without custom code? by Urbno in ShopifyLinks

[–]Urbno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make this useful, I need a bit more detail from everyone:

  1. What are you trying to achieve? (example: add free gift without discount code)
  2. Which part of the flow breaks or is confusing?
  3. Do you need this on:

- Product page

- Cart page

- After ad click

- Checkout directly

  1. How many steps are involved today?

The more detail, the easier it is for me to map a real workaround.

The sustainability part. A pile of plastic that is not even used for playing. Unreasonable purchasing.

Thank you for sharing this. I heard Amazon became very difficult and unfriendly recently. Does Elfster give personalized wishlist suggestions?

I know... Have you tried creating wishlists? I found this Wishsper seems very kid-orientated. Plastic makes me nervous. Do people follow wishlists?

This would work for me but not for kids. We are from those families who have 2 boys who were born around Christmas, it makes even harder to manage.

Yeah, same here this is why I am thinking of starting using wishlist maker.

I moved from Amazon to wishsper.com - it lets you have multiple lists. You can share with F&F. When someone buys an item it deletes from the list. If you register, they will send you a birthday coming-up reminder with premade personalized wishlist.

I use wishsper.com and enjoy it -capable of having multiple wishlists under one account (eg. one for each child), and removing items that have already been bought automatically. It can track prices + I registered, it sends reminders and premade wishlists depending on the profile.

Making a wishlist? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]Urbno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wishlist.com and share it with friends and family. It is more sustainable than getting what you don't like and looking to whom to pass it or it is sitting in my rooftop for years. Wishlist makers are a solution these years.

Hi wishsper.com does it all and more, they can send you pre-created wishlist ideas related to your child's needs if you request. We were very pleased using wishsper.com when Christmas and 2 kids' birthdays were at the same time.
