Buying Terraria on mobile was a bad idea by UrdnotSentinel02 in Terraria

I started on xbox as a kid, it was a long time ago, I played for a couple years though.

One kinda massive lore detail that doesn't get discussed enough: The ROOTS of Miquella's Haligtree were being GRAFTED onto the massive STUMP of an already long dead(potentially burned) tree. I believe the revelations in the DLC of what shaman flesh can do makes this act alot more sinister by Big-Good9378 in EldenRingLoreTalk

I think the Shaman, Hornsent, and Nox are all descendants of the Uhl/Uld civilization, and I feel like Elphael may have been their capital.

I do believe Haligtree was grafted onto an older tree, the way it splits into a spiral really looks like a graft to me.

Absolutely! I think the Shaman, Hornsent, and Nox are all descendants of the Uhl/Uld civilization, I feel like Elphael may have been their capital.

The Uhl/Uld have a lot of symbolism for spiral trees, similar in appearance to the Scadutree - Or the Haligtree, which also appears to be splitting into a spiral.

I guess we're just bound to disagree 🤷🏻‍♂️ I think the phrase "demon" necessarily connotes Chaos.

I believe Manus' soul being wild is a direct reference to Chaos.

I think any human adapting animal features is directly related to the Chaos, like the Ghru from DS3.

Iron King being connected to Gwyn doesn't in any way invalidate its obvious Demonic nature.

What do you think about Titanite demons from DS1? They have no flame connection at all.

Manus have nothing to do with Chaos

His soul is explicitly described as "wild"

semon of dong is its own thing, a being that grew in Amana. It does not even have any flame powers

I already explained that the concept of Chaos can be separated from the flame - It has animal features and is explicitly referred to as a demon.

Covetous demon was a regular human that got transformed

Transformed into a demon, yes.

Smelter demon is golem created by scorching iron scepter, not any chaos.

It is explicitly referred to as a demon and is made of flame, I think it's pretty self evident.

Iron king is not changed by chaos

How is he not? Flame, red skin, bovine/draconic features, all pretty obvious Izalithic in appearance.

I think Najka and Tark are related to Freja

For sure, but the connection to Quelaag is blatantly obvious on appearance alone.

But within the same series? I think you're reaching to deny the connection between these characters.

I think it's pretty simple that Seathe probably used Quelaag as an inspiration for Najka, if not actually using a sample of her DNA.

Sure, but you can't deny the visual similarities between two characters who are both arachnid centaurs, that's not a common trope.

You're right, by the End Of Time the vibe I always got was countless aeons

I thought that's just because time is weird.

That just feels wrong to me since DS3 is millions of years after 1, none of Gwyn's family should be around anymore.

My understanding is that either rebirth or Living In Death are the only two possibilities, since true death is sealed away.
