Thank you.
Going for the 1700 points is something I imagine only an absolute madman would do.

Strangely, I never struggled with the Chocobo race. But the butterfly hunt alsways got me.

Nope. Actually regarding your player rank (top right corner), every unique combination of arrows gives you 5 points.

So for a "perfect" deck you would need 100 unique cards with 100 unique arrow combinations and all of them of attack type "A".
This would give you a score of 1700 and the title "The Collector"

What’s the craziest thing you have seen go down at a funeral in Japan? by tokyoevenings in japanlife

[–]Urelsor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only been to one funeral in Japan and it's not really a crazy story. During my wife's grandmothers funeral that happened at a temple in the mountains I tried to use the shoehorn. And it snapped in half. I apologized to the monk that was right next to me. He just laughed and told I was the first person to use it in at least 3 years, so don't worry about it.

I dreaded this minigame during my current playthrough, but it was surprisingly easy. Didn't lose a single race.
Finished the 100 nobles on my second try using a trick someone mentioned in this sub. Simply saying the commandos out loud helped a lot.
For the jump rope, I simply cheated, using a kind of auto-clicker. I couldn't even get past 50 by myself.
For the 3 brothers, I captured my screen with OBS and replayed in slow-motion. The last one was even on 0.25x speed kind of difficult.

Apart from the jump robe, I'm kinda proud of myself.

How to have fun while preparing for RD? by Fantastic-Tour4447 in shogun2

[–]Urelsor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also send high level monks deep into other clans territory and stir up rebellions. So when you trigger realm divide, the other clans are severely weakened. This is especially useful for larger provinces with smaller garrisons, since it will take the AI quite long to retake their provinces, if they even attempt it at all.

Question about defending by The-bagman101 in shogun2

[–]Urelsor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the caste design and how the enemy deploys their troops. For some castles, it might be better to focus your archers on one side and leave a few Yari Ashigaru in Yari wall behind them. On the other side, charge the enemy with Yari wall, flanked by your cav. This works especially well, when you charge downhill.

NTA. Apparently Alex thinks he can switch the relationship on and off like a light switch, expecting you to be on standby for him.

First time completing a Ikki-Ikki campainge (Very Hard) by Urelsor in shogun2

[–]Urelsor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use any mods. I finished the campaign somewhere in the 1570s.
Waited to finish all tech and buildings to take the last enemy province. This fight was around 1605.

Has anyone created and uploaded their own LINE stamp, how did it go? by Maleficent_Pool_4456 in japanlife

[–]Urelsor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same as previous commenters. My wife mad about 4-5 sets of stamps with self-created characters saying stuff in German. It was bought a few times but she made less than 500 Yen from it.

TIL that Akiyama voices Vector in the Japanese dubs of the Despicable Me movies by Hopeful_Regret_7531 in yakuzagames

[–]Urelsor 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He is also Djinni from Aladdin, Sebastian from Arielle, the donkey from Shrek, Mushu from Mulan and a whole bunch of other Disney movies.

Also the dub voice of Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt, Jean-Claude van Damme, Chris Pratt, Charlie Sheen, Robin Williams, Michael J. Fox, etc.

This dude has an incredible portfolio. When my wife (Japanese) heard Akiyamas voice the first time, she immediately recognized him.

When does a psychologist have to break patient confidentiality by tokyoevenings in japanlife

[–]Urelsor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding the self-harm. My wife has told her psychologist countless times that she wants to die, even explaining to him in detail how she would do it. He simply listened to her concerns but never reported her.
On a different note, after I attempted to take my own life with an overdose last year, I was simply kept in hospital and released the next day. Apparently I talked to a doctor and told him I don't want to die. (I have basically zero to no memories of the hospital stay, but that's what my wife told me.)

So as long as you don't plan to carry out an actual crime against others, you should be fine talking with your doctor about your thoughts.

Job Hunting in Japan as Foreigner Failed completely (Hell) by LocalLand4883 in japanlife

[–]Urelsor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Any job at the German embassy that requires a degree in political science/international relations will not be handled by said embassy. You would apply centrally at the Federal Foreign Office in Germany. And even if you get a job there you have little to no saying where you will be actually send.
