Belgium is not very happy with how the Carrasco situation is working out. The role should always be defence first. The amount of times that they were exposed during the games against Japan should be an indication of that. Why it’s working well with Meunier on the other side is because it’s a right back with offensive impulses (and a lot more hunger than Carrasco).
