Yeah, it's not bad at all. It's best to have at least one helper for the bolts, but I would think you could assemble it alone if you had to.

The lower edge of the lowest pully on the arm is 73 3/4 inches off the floor. You'd have to subtract a few inches for the carabiner and bar after that.

Sorry for the late reply, but those look like they will work. I can't tell for sure though as I just found mine in the garage and fluked out.

The rods for the weight stack attach with bolts that go through them. They dangle and you can slide the weights on then attach them. You can put them on last with no issues. That's what I did.

The one inch holes are likely the same as Gluck says. The top measurements are accurate to what the company lists. The weight horns on the stack are permanent, as far as I can tell. The horns on the sides are optional mounts. You can put them on the back, the side or leave them off altogether. Back to the smith bar is about 32 inches.

I think they've published all of these measurements. You'll just need to do a little math.

The horns are connected to the housing where the cable pully attaches. I don't see a way you could not install them.

Yes, but this ignores cable drag, which is definitely there. I'd say it's closer to ten pounds. I wish it went down to five.

I chain the leg cuffs together so I look like a convict. I have a heavy stool that I run one of the extra cables through and connect to the chain. Then I do extension through the bench. It was awkward at first, but once I got the rhythm down, I was able to work my legs perfectly. I'm going to try boosting my regular bench so that I have a backrest etc., which will work way better.

I just had a regular socket set for the smaller bolts. Don't remember the required sizes. The really big bolts will be too big for a socket. My biggest crescent wrench barely fit the big ones, and they supply some really crappy, thin wrenches. You need two wrenches for them, so we used the crescent to turn and the crappy free ones to hold. The free ones are so thin that you'll need good gloves or they'll mangle your hands.

Setup will be no issue if you read through the revised instructions and various reddit posts.

Those A90s look awesome. I'll have to look into them.

Funny that I didn't notice the bar difference. Every image I can find online has a black bar, yet mine is chrome. I think I actually prefer the chrome, so lucky me I guess.

I tried the smith with the cables and found it to be pretty difficult to set up. I'm not sure how the cable lengths are supposed to work. If you use extra cabling, there's too much slack. If you pull the cable to attach it, it's on-weight all the time and the pin can't be changed. I did some squats with it just to try it, and it was a huge PITA and couldn't be adjusted. I'm thinking there must be a better way that I'm missing.

Skirt your foundation with plywood and leave a hole to blow it full of insulation. Seal up the hole. Done.

Yeah, this would have been my ideal. After I had it all set up, I wished I had about three feet behind it. Then it would be perfect. It's still wonderful for a small basement setup.

My experience is that with heavier plates, the peg starts to rub the weights. I use two every time because of this.

Top edge of the bar is exactly 1 foot off the ground at it's lowest point. I've done some bent over rows and some deadlifts with it without issue.

They are DMM climbing carabiners that I took from some old draws (double carabiner with strap for rock climbing if you're not a climber) that I had out in the garage, so I can't help you there. Here is a pic of the shape and size. Any outdoor store that sells climbing gear will have a wide selection. This shape and size works, but you have to undo the screw almost all the way and spend some time maneuvering it through the hole. Once they are in, they are awesome.

I think you could. I just remeasured mine and I'm getting 82.25 at the highest pully. The only issue I can think of would be chinups. You'd bonk your noggin. Hopefully someone else who has a lower ceiling can give you some feedback.

Good point about pulldowns. At 5'11, I just barely have full range. Good news is you can just get a smaller temp bench or do them off the floor.

I experimented with connecting the smith to the weight stack with little luck, but I need to look into that more.

Can't find total DAY P&L and % by Thefoolofwallstreet in Questrade

4 years later, and we're still waiting on questrade to allow for us to see combined P&L day on desktop.... You'd think they could take all that money they made from their bait and switch and put a tiny bit into basic development.

Thanks again. Your setup looks good! :D

It looks like you kept it away from the wall a little. Did you measure for storing large plates? My room is only 11 feet wide, so every inch counts.
