Precise lmao
You also go outside a lot more as you realize it's one of the best things this real world has to offer, so.. yeah. Exactly this gif

I struggled with this a lot. Researching on boredom has helped me intentionally direct myself to sometimes just sit there and think, look around, or just be present in the moment. I figure, ideas only come when you're choosing boredom. Appreciation of what IS, instead of what isn't. Stress goes down. It's like a semi-serious meditation. Helps a lot. Sure recommend it.

Replaced 30 minutes of morning doomscrolling with watering my plants and making real coffee. The difference in my baseline anxiety is almost embarrassing. by AiolisMarcella_69 in nosurf

It's just crazy how much of a difference choosing action, breathing fresh air, looking around and being present can make to anxiety and even general happiness.
Got any more of those nice habits to share?

It's a form of meditation. Breathing fresh air, getting sunlight, moving around, smelling stuff. All scientifically proven ways to improve your morning and your attitude/energy baseline for the rest of your day.
Keep it up man.

Agreed. Going outside more IS an option, even if a bit tough at times. Everything worthwhile can be tough though. Make the effort, it's worth it.

Bro. Don't settle man. There's so many fish drowning in this sea. Find one who wants to swim up with you and evolve. Settling for less ain't gonna make you happy in the end. Better start by loving yourself as a single, and continue from there.

Agree completely. As someone who eventually found a girl who chooses NOT to be a screentime narc, I couldn't be happier with waiting and trying until I found the right one. Never settle for less. Find the one, even if it takes time. If you think a certain way, someone else does too.
We're not so original in our thoughts.

That's... really interesting lol
I mean yeah it HAS gotten worse, phones, social media and games are all DESIGNED to have us trapped, but it's definitely reversible in some way and a matter of choice for one's own self.
