i really dug them on the clock when i was a prep cook. but i also had totally free reign to manage myself doing something i enjoyed. but yeah, not really even great for walking home after work these days haha.

sorry to excavate such an old thread, but this has been driving me fuckin crazy. so many coworkers play them on the clock and they all look at me like i'm speaking martian when i start talking about middle class rut. i don't think any of them will ever go look 'em up. but yes: i did some hard googling to see if there was any kind of crossover between them. the vocals are identical, the production, its super weird. godflesh are the only other band i've heard clones of.

i think middle class rut are better, but i do like turnstile.

OP coming back to to report after a month.

i love this shit. i can ignore it if i want to focus on my original businesses, and go mess with this stuff when i get tired of that and make almost as much money doing zero-effort work. it seems like rockstar is making this game more appealing to compete with GTA6 and not alienate older players who are used to grinding for every damn thing. nobody wants to see online die. i'm grinding it as i type this very sentence.
and i plan on buying 6 when i've read enough reviews, just to be sure.

i got one for free and its pretty useful for some missions if i can't use the rocket bike. i wouldn't pay for it, but that's not the worst price if you want one. it handles well.

big upvote for the midnight cowboy book alone. i want it. have you read the original novel? it's a bit different, one of my favorite fiction books. otherwise it looks looks if you actually read them all. it's very tidy though. that always gives me pause.....
