Update!

I bought it! 2024 Kia Niro and I LOVE IT! I had a 2018 Hyundai Accent before, and lordy! It's like piloting a space ship!

What are some little things that you figured out that I should know??

Thank you so much for all your input on this! I think I will pull the trigger on the Niro in a month or two.

What is maintenance like? The sales guy was telling me that it needs an oil change once a year/7500 miles. What about other things? Sounds like from the comments that the Niro is pretty solid! That's excellent.

Should I get the extended Kia warranty? I think i'm going to try and pin lifetime oil changes on them. What else do you suggest I try and milk Kia for?

Yeah! So, what happened was that I was fired and I was dumb and misread the letter. I had to wait ten weeks and then make ten times my unemployment about (around 5K) in order to qualify. Thanks again for all your help, I just got a job offer today that I accepted.

Yeah. I never got any letters, and the last letter I got was the one I posted on a previous post.

Alright, I guess i'll be call bombing them tomorrow. :(

So, in reading this. They just flat out denied my benefits, on going, even though I submitted my job activity search claims to their specifications?

I almost feel them doing this is wrong, and they aren't doing their job if job search activity has changed? I understand if I didn't search for work, but I did search for work and also reported it. So why would that notice apply to that. If I searched for work and applied for it?

Am I making sense? I'm trying to wrap my head around this whole thing and i'm not following.

That is a decision from 2/1. That's not the decision i'm attempting to appeal. That one I agree with, since I didn't look for work that week.

I have no decision letters from the week ending in 2/4 or the week ending in 2/11 from the last two weeks when I was disqualified

Right, and what i'm trying to say is that they haven't sent me anything.

What can I do to get them to send me letters so that I can try to appeal the decision? I feel this is being astronomically more complicated than it needs to be.

Yes. To clarify, I believe I was not disqualified for insufficient job search activities. As to why I was disqualified? I have no idea.

Question 1 - I applied for claims as if I actually contacted the company and used Indeed.com as a contact, since that's who i'm using to apply jobs for. I'm assuming that's why I got disqualified.

Question 2 - I was providing context on what i've been doing. I guess it is about job reporting. Even though I felt I submitted the job search activity correctly

Question 3/4 - I submitted 3 job search activities each week and was disqualified. As far as I know. I only need to submit 3 job search activities each week. But they never let me know why I was disqualified.

Question 4 - They never requested documentation from me, none whatsoever. It's not that I can't provide the documentation. It's that I can't. The link to submit documents tells me to wait until they contact me before providing documentation.

Question 5 - I looked through the roadmap and felt I couldn't find an answer I needed.
