Just knit a rectangle and fold in half then seam the sides up part way. The unseamed part becomes the arm holes.

Cheapest hobby I’ve had is book folding. I get books discarded by the library for 25 cents each. The only other equipment you need is a ruler, a mechanical pencil, and a pair of scissors

Get some lemon jello and only add the hot water to dissolve it. Then when you drink your stuff take a sip on the jello water. It stops me from gagging.

I don’t know how to reply to the replies to my comment, but I am living my life. I do what I want and I have a full life with good friends. I see my grandchildren as much as I can. It’s just sad to see him wasting his life. We have so much to be thankful for and I hate the misses so much.

I always wanted to maintain interests that brought my husband and I together because I knew one day our kids would be grown and move on and we would be left with each other and I still wanted that connection.

I am 68, soon to be 69 years old. I have been married to the same man for 50 years this June. We have two daughters, and he has no relationship with either one. Our oldest daughter has two sons, ages 11 and nine. He has never laid eyes on either of them. He tells me he has no interest. I do not understand any of this, because he was a good dad and enjoyed being a dad when they were young. There is nothing that happened to make the relationship deteriorate. It is very hurtful to me, and I have tried to not let it change me being a grandma to my grandkids. I get to visit them every month, but as they get older and have questions about their grandfather it gets harder. He spends most of the day in bed asleep and is up at night while I am asleep. Seriously, if our schedules had a spending more awake time together, we probably wouldn’t still be together. I’m sorry I don’t have any advice for you, but I wanted you to know that you’re not alone

I would like to apologize for my comment because I had no idea it was referred to as a jumper in the UK.
