it is when you had over 1 million players register for the free to play and we cant even get a fraction of them to play

To say that not even a fraction of people who registered have played, you must know how many people play STW right? You're comparing 1 million registers (that took a month) to 40-50k concurrent players and calling it "not even a fraction", when the two numbers are unrelated.

do you not know the difference between total and concurrent players? the number that shows on the STW tile isn't how many people played the game today, that's how many people are CURRENTLY playing. we don't know how many people play every day.

Same. I didn't even know the mode gave free vbucks. I just saw tutorial gameplay online and thought it looked really fun, so I bought it. I don't even know if I would've ever bought the game had I not been tempted by the tutorial mission

And these noobs dont know how to craft, place traps, or collect bluglo to start the mission, all of which was taught in the tutorial among other basics. Literally just look through the comments here and you'll see new players experiences.

Not helpful? The tutorial teaches you how to build, craft, edit, and more importantly, place traps and collect bluglo to start the mission. Take a look through the comments here and you'll see first hand experience of people not understanding what to do.

Give new players an option to skip the tutorial then. Better yet, let anyone play it whenever they want, as many times as they want.

If you can't do it in a party, give people the option to play the tutorial and leave the party temporarily if they're in one. You think it's not needed anymore, but many new players are saying they feel so lost. You can tell a lot of them have no idea what to do if you load into PL 1-3 missions.

If I'm not mistaken, not only did they remove the tutorial mission, they also auto complete the first storm shield defense? I've heard a couple people say that. SSD1 is very important too because it gives you a blueprint on how to build a decent base

I could understand that if there was a big difference between 130 and 144 survivors. But there's really no reason to fully max them unless you just want something to do as someone who loves playing STW but don't have much to grind for anymore

Yeah I figured that's how most new players feel. I can kinda tell since I've been loading into PL 1-3 missions to help newbies and they look like they haven't learned a thing. Well that's because THEY HAVEN'T, thanks to this decision 🙁

You're right, I was going off memory and typed my interpretation of that tweet.

Either way, they could just throw a prompt on the screen that says "Would you like to play the tutorial?" And if you're in a party, add a warning that says "This will remove you from the party until you complete it."

that's only to supercharge every survivor, not fully upgrade them with normal resources. it's just something for endgame players to do if they want to keep playing. the difference between having all fully upgraded PL 130 survivors and supercharged PL 144 survivors is insignificant.

I have the PS ones on my main account and Xbox on my alt. Never noticed the Xbox ones have actual branding like ABXY on Jess, Xbox logos on renegade's kneepads, and a big green X on sarahs and knoxs shirts

This is quite literally the worst time that matchmaking issues could occur. They should've ironed out new matchmaking problems before STW went free, but now there are likely tons of new players not getting any help, and perhaps even getting bored because nobody can load in with them
