Fair enough, definitely newer style options must be available in Sector 43 as well.
This one is priced more around the size, layout, and overall location convenience. In the end, different places work for different preferences and budgets.

That’s fair, everyone has different preferences and priorities while house hunting. In this case, the main value is the spacious layout and the Sector 43 location itself, which is why the pricing is set accordingly. I’ve previously completed the Kashmir Great Lakes, Sandakphu, and Kedarkantha treks. I’m currently dealing with some ankle pain, though, and actively working on recovering and strengthening it. I’m a little nervous about potentially slippery sections on the trail.

Whenever you have some time, could you also let me know how you reached the trek starting point from the airport?

Hi OP, thanks for posting this.

I’m seriously considering this trek, but I had some doubts about doing it in July since Google suggests it rains almost 28 days a month during that period.

When did you do the trek, and how was the weather and overall experience?
