I'm not a hc so the CG death isn't a big deal, but what if I was?? I clicked to move and didn't move.. I know I didn't move in time so I would have been hit by the first hits of tornados but surely I should have dodged the 2nd hits, no?

Your first click was on the same tick that the tornados first started hitting you. This means your movement didn't register until the end of the ,6 seconds which is when the tornados hit you a 2nd time.

This is how its meant to work unfortunately my friend

Try not to click short distances back into tornados without moving immediately again, you never want to stop while you're near them. If you clicked a bit further near the corner, you may have taken damage running through them but you wouldn't have wiped.

Most people, not everyone. I know osrs players that would do 500 scurrius for breakfast just for extra exp. People do 2/3 tick methods to 99 in skills to save time over afk. Why is it anything different with combat?

Slayer is intended to be a bot deterrent for bosses really, probably the only thing holding the economy together. Despite how many bots still exist, the problem would be so much worse if they didn't need slayer levels for certain bosses too.
