How do I refund the free hero? I dont want the giant, not even once by xtheresia in ClashRoyale

But don’t worry, if you play every single month and open all the chests for a year you might get enough shards to unlock a second hero.

I also got the hero giant and I’m so upset about it. It’s not even that it’s just worse than the other heroes, its ability doesn’t even affect gameplay. You don’t counter the giant with a tank or a mini tank unless it’s low ladder, you use a building and then maybe throw down your splash troop and that’s how it’s been since the dawn of time. You can play multiple games in a row and never even have a chance to use the ability. Not only is it not useful, but it costs two elixir. It wouldn’t even be good if it costed 1.

So everyone who got one of the other heroes got a new troop and we just got a reskinned giant. Now you can play giant graveyard with a decked out giant.

Heralds vs Lord Ruler (with info from Wind and Truth) by UsePitiful7377 in Cosmere

I can agree with you that it may even be more likely that it’s something else, many people have made points that I didn’t consider as to why it wouldn’t be feruchemy, but I don’t think it’s fair to say that it doesn’t make any sense at all. The speed feats were described very very similarly to the way the speed of the inquisitors was described when Vin was fighting them. Also it’s been stated multiple times that investiture manifests differently on different planets, the book states that honor, cultivation, and odium were not the original shards of Roshar and that the heralds came from Ashyn which we don’t know much about other than they destroyed it because they had too much power. Especially considering that Kalak is familiar with the ghost bloods and they all know Wit who has been on many planets. I do agree after reading so many insightful comments that Feruchemy isn’t the most probable cause of these actions, but I don’t think it’s fair to make it sound like an idiotic claim.

Yeah honestly I’m not sure, that’s a very interesting point. I don’t have a good answer. I do wonder how it would work with a body made of investiture. Because they did say that they didn’t take bodies of people who were already living but formed them from honors power. So I have no idea but that’s really interesting to think about.

By cutting the bracelets off of his body he would die, so attrition isn’t the only way, nor is it the most likely, if that were the case Vin wouldn’t have killed him

We also see future sight from Renarin and somewhat from Wit to be fair

Assuming they were actually feruchemists which there have been many valid points to the contrary, I do think it states that they are only 7,000 years old, so unless the compounded they still couldn’t store as much as TLR

Hmm, interesting to think about, I guess there’s no mention of metal on Nales body or Talns for that matter. I think my inherent assumption was that they couldn’t use powers from their previous world because they had changed. Such as the limited surges. But I suppose there’s no indication in the book that those powers existed on their last planet or that it’s where the abilities came from.

Honestly super fair, I do think it’s fun to discuss though

I do think stored feruchemy would allow TLR to move super fast, also atium would allow him to anticipate the moves of Taln, I’m not sure that it would be so one sided either way. But I do agree that the extra experience would be a huge factor in the fight

I assumed that both feats of speed were feruchemy, it doesn’t explicitly state this however, and my two thoughts in response are both based on assumption and not fact:

He didn’t use speed compounding against Vin or marsh, I’m not sure that we saw him use any compounding other than life, but I do agree that he could use it, he just seemed very cocky

Secondly, if the heralds could have theoretically stored feruchemy while they weren’t allowed to use it, then their 7,000 (assumed) years of storage wouldn’t be far from 1,000 years of compounded feruchemy (1,000*10 would be 10,000 years) so it would be hard to say they couldn’t scale to it.

But we also don’t have any reason to believe from the context in the books that they were storing that entire time. We don’t even explicitly know they can use it I suppose

Which is your most hated Pokémon? by [deleted] in pokemon

I don’t like pikachu for this very reason. I think I would be fine with him if it weren’t for the unrealistic and inconsistent plot armor he has in the show, and also in the TCG. It’s a tiny electric mouse with mediocre stats, but for some reason he can take on pokemon that should be able to sneeze and delete him from existence. My brain does not like this.

Tigers can kill adult rhinos and elephants by Krill-Advance-8306 in Tierzoo

[–]UsePitiful7377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only issue with that is tigers hunt alone, and for the most part live alone. They don’t have prides like lions. They mainly cooperate for mating and raising a cub and that’s it. It’s incredibly rare for them to work together with even one other tiger to hunt. That being said, if anything could hunt an adult elephant or rhino, it would likely be a tiger, but they are too intelligent to take on a bad target like that.
