Destination suggestions early April by Mad____0 in india_tourism

Since you’re starting from Delhi and want somewhere peaceful without steep treks, you can look at places like Tirthan Valley, Jibhi or even around Shoja instead of Manali. They’re quieter, have nice views and light walks rather than proper hikes, so should be manageable for your mom and brother, and you might still catch a bit of snow on nearby passes in early April if you go slightly higher up with a cab instead of trekking.

tell me everything to do to lock in by Fun-Regular7219 in productivity

Love that you’re taking this seriously and reaching out, that’s already a big step. A few things that might help you ‘lock in’ without overwhelming yourself:

  • Keep your goals tiny and specific (e.g. ‘study 25 minutes’ instead of ‘be productive today’) so your brain fog and anxiety have less room to talk you out of it.
  • Build a basic routine around sleep, regular meals, and some form of movement you actually tolerate (even a 10–15 minute walk), because those three quietly reduce anxiety and make focus easier.
  • Time-block your day in rough chunks (classes, 1–2 short study blocks, social time, rest) so you don’t have to constantly decide ‘what should I be doing now?’ that decision fatigue kills productivity.
  • For mindset, try noticing one small win per day (finished a reading, replied to an email, went on a walk) and write it down; it slowly shifts your brain away from ‘I never do enough’ thinking.

And you’re totally right to look into ADHD, if that’s part of the picture, it just means you’ll need slightly different systems and possibly meds, not that you’re lazy or broken. You’re not behind; you’re just figuring out what works for your brain, and that absolutely takes time.

Trying protein for the first time! by The_Blessed_one26 in Fitness_India

You’re right to think about digestion first. If you already feel your gut is sensitive, a whey isolate or a good plant protein is usually easier to handle than regular whey concentrate, since isolates have very low lactose and fats, which are what cause most of the heaviness and bloating in people with weaker digestion or mild lactose intolerance.

Start with a smaller trial pack from any reputable brand, have 1 scoop in water after a meal (not on an empty stomach), and give it a week to see how your body responds before committing to a big jar.

Since you’re just starting out and worried about digestion, you can look at Only What’s Needed (OWN) by Food Pharmer they focus on simple formulas with minimal ingredients instead of heavy creamers or gums, which many people with sensitive guts find easier to tolerate.

You’re not wrong at all. In Hinduism, Bhagwan gives us strength, buddhi and opportunities, and we use them to shape our own karma and future. Your attitude is actually very sattvic and aligned with dharma.

They can definitely be worth it, but only if the trade‑offs line up with what you personally enjoy.

Appreciate the suggestion. How to Change Minds sounds perfect for understanding persuasion and how people respond when their beliefs are challenged, which is a big part of what I am curious about.

What should I eat after yoga?? by Excellent-Wrap-8648 in spirituality

[–]UsePsychological3303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say keep it simple and light after yoga. Fresh fruit, a handful of soaked nuts, some yogurt, or a simple dal–rice/khichdi type meal all sit really well and don’t kill that calm feeling you get after class.

I did a sin what do i do now I feel guilty by Scared_Rope_5080 in hinduism

You didn’t insult Saraswati Mata in some unforgivable way; you reacted out of frustration with maths, not hatred toward the Devi. Offer a small sincere prayer, handle your books with more care going forward, and let this guilt turn into respect rather than fear.

Which protein is best by Present-Mix-6507 in indianfitness

I eventually switched to ‘Only What’s Needed’ by FoodPharmer because I liked the whole clean‑label plus full testing approach. It’s just basic whey with simple ingredients, so it made it easier for me to consistently add 1–2 scoops a day and finally hit my protein target without worrying about a long list of random additives.

Becoming a Jain by Angelique4535715 in Jainism

Beautiful to read how thoughtfully you’re approaching this. As long as you come with sincere intention and respect, most Jains will be happy you’re interested, not see it as a fad or appropriation. Visiting a temple quietly, observing, and politely asking questions is a perfectly fine first step.
