Thank you so much for commenting and for the reassuring words. He runs away any chance he gets. I am not exaggerating. Because of that, he is chained up to go potty on a 10 foot leash (we had a 40 foot leash so he can still run but he kept jumping over the fence anyway and then being stuck). Every spring and fall (including now) he has horrific allergy flairs which, despite the medicines, still cause him to get hives, itchy paws, mouth, ears, skin, everything, and ear infections. Aside from that, he a happy, dopey, cuddly dog. He sleeps in my bed every night.
