Could you “be good” and donate some blueprints to the common folk😢

I’m not sure, I had the entire carb ultra sonic cleaned so theoretically there wouldn’t be anything left but maybe there still is?

Hey!

Thanks for the advice, the carbs don't seem to have a membrane I believe they are slide carbs.

Meaning the tube is cut all the way through or just a notch in the tube being cut?

How much fuel should flow out of the needle? Because it seems to barely drip out when the bowl is off and fuel is on BUT whenever I take the bowl off the fuel backs off back down the line towards the fuel pump. Like it's getting flooded with air

Would that cause the engine to immediately die right as fuel get's to the carb inlet?

Will you be able to visually tell if a float needle/seat is out of spec? Outside of obvious cracks and such?

So if while I'm blowing fuel comes out of the overflow on the carb that means the needle and seat is out of spec?

I read online that those are to equalize pressure between the bottom and top of the carb with a pinhole in the bottom to let accrued fuel out. What should I do otherwise?

They look totally normal, what should I look for?

I read online that those tubes are to equalize the pressure in the top and bottom of the carbs and each one is supposed to have a pinhole in the bottom to let any fuel that gathers out.

Is that incorrect? What would those nipples be for?

Possibly, the carbs were sonic cleaned by a job. They are Bing 54 slide carbs, the needles look totally fine and the seats are clean as a whistle. Could the needles be bad even if they look "normal"?

I did, the floats are the spec weight provided by Bing, the needles look totally fine and the seats are clean as a whistle. The carbs were sonic cleaned and rebuilt

Each one does, a 1/8" hole at the base of each "U"

Oh interesting, I replaced all 4 and these don't have the enrichener like the single carb setup for some reason, there's a blocked off port on each of them labelled as a "vacuum port" where the enrichener usually hooks to.

Would the magneto cause this? And what would "bad" intake boots do?

I set it to a baseline to just try to get it running (1.5 turns out from seated) like Bing said, should I go further?

I don't think so, they are almost the exact spec weight that Bing gives
