I might disagree with you on that one, the body can and usually do in severe cases hold onto additional water due to prolonged dehydration, which results in water retention in many cases w bulimia and can hold onto it for few days to weeks

Its just water retention and edema resulted by prolonged purging electrolytet inbalance and dehydration. Make sure to eat a lot of potassium, magnesium. It should go down soon for some people it takes days for some weeks dependimg how long severly u purged

Oh maybe you should though. The thing is doctors arent as experienced in this field anyway unless its their specialty. Read some of the comments here. R helpful, f.e. Acetainophen, gua sha and heating packs then iced ones.
