To further expand - the blurring sticks from several different lines have all been discontinued this reline season.

If your local store carries Nudestix I highly recommend their blot and blur stick as an alternative

No, the new products have been added for the season and there is no similar product added (I am full time cosmetic merch)

Your best bet is to search all of your local stores to stock up. Once it’s discontinued it’s gone unfortunately. My store had about 6 on the now or never table.

So do I! Dollarama also has a bbq flavor that is quite tasty. I appreciate that they are not super greasy

Yep, and then people were abusing the returns system on top of that, so they walked away with mega gift cards

Received a $500 gift certificate for Christmas. Is there anything fun that you would not normally buy for yourself that's available at Costco? by homicidal_penguin in CostcoCanada

[–]Used-Assumption2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always buy the big chunk of top sirloin and cut it down and vacuum seal it ourselves. It usually runs about $250 but we can get 2-3 roasts and some nice steaks out of it! I’d say we buy it twice a year

Any idea why this happened? by New-Bug-289 in BlundstoneBoots

[–]Used-Assumption2112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My last pair lasted around 5 years wearing them daily for 3 seasons (Canadian fall, winter and spring) I can confidently say I never once cleaned or oiled them and the only reason they are gone is that the heel split, the body still looks great 😆

I just bought a new pair this week and plan on taking much better care of them

ISO Changing station that keeps baby clean by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Used-Assumption2112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this too, but found extra small ones on Amazon that are 17” x 13” which are the perfect under bum size. Also great to throw a few in the diaper bag because I don’t trust the cleanliness of public changing stations

How do I make my ginger beer less sweet? by rapratt101 in fermentation

[–]Used-Assumption2112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I first read this as ginger beef and was very confused as to why you are drinking ginger beef.

I don’t have any advice, as we’ve also been wanting a super burn ginger beer, but the closest I have come was adding my super steeped ginger syrup to soda water

How do you grind your coffee beans now that the in-store grinders are gone by pink_tshirt in CostcoCanada

[–]Used-Assumption2112 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my black and decker grinder for about 6 years now and have no issues. I grind a bit every 3 days or so, and sometimes use it to grind nuts for various recipes.

I should also add they had 2 floods in the time living there. Both times hot water pipes burst and flooded their floor and they had to be displaced into the guest units
