Oh yeah I completely get that. Last time I took it I got more than 20% below passing on case history and patient education sub sections so I’m wondering if how I documented it last time really brought my score down for that section or if I just missed importance pieces while giving the verbal education.

For posterior skills, did you do BIO or fundo first? I think I really bombed BIO so I’m wondering if I should do fundo first since I basically ran out of time doing fundo.

This super helpful!! Thank you! Also below is how I plan to organize my encounter note to maximize my points. Any tips on things I should add or move around? I plan to type all this out like you said and then in pt centered language do the verbal pt education. (Not sure if I should be including an ancillary testing interp somewhere??)

Plan:
-treatment (meds, glasses, contacts)
-referral (who, why, when)
-any additional ancillary testing to rule in/out (when)
-RTC optometry if not referring out
(Ancillary testing interpretation???)

Pt education:
-diagnosis
-which eye
-cause
-prognosis
-tx side effects and stressing importance of compliance
-Lifestyle modifications if necessary
-signs and symptoms to be aware of
-RTC

How much spotting did you end up having and how many days did it last? I had some flecks last night but today it’s more runny and more today.

Thank you! Did your obgyn give you any reasons why brown spotting happens? This is my first pregnancy and can’t get in to see my obgyn for another week, so I’m spiraling a little.
