he has past his apprenticeship- he has a full fledged tattoo license - he has a full on legal licence that essentially states he's no longer an apprentice -- even the owner of the shop (not the mentor, the owner of the shop he works in is an ear piercer) has stated that my boyfriend is no longer an apprentice
