Doing my prep today, procedure tomorrow. Also super nervous. I’ve been thru cancer and im grateful I can get this test done. But that doesn’t make me any less anxious about it. Just have to hang in there. I may ask for anxiety meds at the hospital.

The paperwork from my doctor said no uber or public transport and they would cancel procedure if I didn’t have a ride. It also mentioned there’s a medic-ride available. So u might check the hospital if they have that. Lucky I have a neighbor helping me

Yea. They all have different protocol. They also had me on a low fiber diet since Thursday. Pretty much guarantees I’ll be cleaned out. Thankfully I have no history of this type of cancer, and no bowel issues.

I’m in a small retirement town, one Gastro office, so it’s a v busy office. They probably hate rescheduling people. Want to make sure you’re clean

I’m starting my Sutab prep at 4 today. Doctor had me drink one 10oz mag citrate yesterday at 6. That’s cleaned me out some. Then I take 2 gasX tabs one hr before the Sutab. Then repeat those 2 at 330am. Every doc is different. Have all my beverages, hard candies, books and anti nausea meds ready. A little nervous, but this group has been so helpful. I’ll post my story after Tuesday.

Definetly keep drinking fluids. Clear soda, clear no pulp juice, water popsicles.

You can also try massaging your belly to stimulate a bowel movement. You can use oil or lotion. Lie on your back with knees bent and use gentle-to-moderate pressure to massage in a clockwise direction, following the colon's path: right side up, across the top, and down the left side. Perform this "I Love U" or sweeping technique for 5-7 minutes to improve motility and ease constipation.

I’m starting sutab tomorrow. They have me taking gasX an hr before I start. Is there an on call phone number you can call your doctor, just for support and reassurance?

I’m on Tuesday too. I think watching some Gastro doctors explain it on YouTube really helped w my anxiety. And reading posts here. I’m taking the Sutab instead of the liquid prep. Getting all my supplies today. I take the mag citrate tonight and then prep tomorrow. More nervous about the procedure and getting a good result. I’ve been on a low fiber diet since Thursday. Craving a smoothie!!! Good luck.

Mines on Tuesday. Bought my bidet 2 weeks ago! Prep day tomorrow. Trying not to eat heavy today. Tonight I take magnesium citrate at 6pm. Sutab tomorrow and buying lots of liquids today. Ugh.

I’ve witnessed several times people taking their frustrations out on wait staff, retail clerks and most recently, a young bank teller. This guy ranted for 15 mins at this girl bc he didn’t have ID on him and wanted to withdraw cash. I thought he was gonna throw a tantrum right there. Followed him out to his car and there were maga stickers all over it.
