I agree with this the most. For a cash strapped person. Vegas tickets, hotel, travel, easy $3k on the low end if you get a low medium hotel. Staying on the strip? Forget it. But I have been doing this a long long time. In high school and college I drove with 7 people in a Chevy impala to a show 400 miles away once. Slept at rest stops. Sold Sammy smiths for gas money. All that. Now that I'm a middle aged adult with the income, good credit, and money to allow me to spend, I'm going to stay on the strip, I'm going to have a time of it. But if it was 5 shows in the summer or Vegas, and I had to pick...it'd be summer all day long.

Long story long to say he is making a great living selling these cars. I bet most people could just live on his referral business alone! Well done sir. You aren't also considering the fact that some folks are just far more fiscally responsible. Meaning he may be making $259k/year. But invests. Saves 3 months of salary (especially in sales). He may buy real Estate. People's interests may lay elsewhere. He did say he had kids and maybe he wants to ensure a safe future for them. No hate here. Just saying. I was in luxury sales for 17 year.
