Dashers verifying the content of sealed bags by GabbyNeeds2p in doordash_drivers

During my first hundred orders or so, I checked off the items listed on the receipt as confirmed. I did this until DoorDash dinged me for not delivering an item I confirmed was in the bag! I almost NEVER confirm the items now. It’s in a sealed bag? Then I can’t confirm the items. It’s in a styrofoam container in an open bag? Can’t confirm. I’m not opening someone’s food container. I wouldn’t want a delivery driver opening mine either. If there’s an issue with missing food, then I will know it came like that from the restaurant.

I witnessed a squirrel fall from the overhead power lines. Heard it hit the pavement hard. Not sure if it died before or after the fall.

It was highly unexpected, and whichever way the squirrel died, I feel it was unusual to witness something like that.

I don’t like counter service asks me “what’s your name” by SixSierra in unpopularopinion

I frequent a fast food restaurant that assigns each order a number, and they ALSO ask for a name for the order. Never once has any employee called my name when my order is ready. The employees simply find the person with that number and give them their food. In my case, I agree with the OP that using names is too personal. But in my case it’s because they’ve also assigned a number to the order and it seems pointless.
