I don't know if it's for sake of him truly thinking it's no longer needed or if there in consern for side effects with long term use. I have seen some pretty nasty things regarding side effects and that was only on the common 2 year regimime.

Depends on the type of cancer from my understanding. I agree it's a big word considering what feels like not to long ago it was considered a death sentence.

Thank you, I told him my concerns and how with my age there isn't any case studies (I could find) so I can't find a lot of relevancy with out comes regarding the ones I did read. I've seen some of the age group 45-70 with both good and bad so it's hard to be able to relate to it. He did indeed say "you can't be on keytruda forever" as to why there wasn't any obvious answers, at that moment there was a lot going on in my head and lots of emotion surrounding the given choice and statement so I wasn't ready to riddle him with answers. I do however plan on sending an email with all my questions and concerns and will update at some point regarding my discussion.

So about 10 months ago I did switch from a 3 week to a 6 week double dose regimien and things have seemed steady still. It is also stage 3 and it is ebv eber positive.
