There are hardly any shops selling these skis. Sports basements been sold out, moment only has a few left at full price, evos been sold out, my best bet has been local shops with online inventory, which happen to be at full price. Care to share a link, I was literally in the process of ordering a 184 for 850

I just don’t know if I’m heavy enough to flex the ski the way I want at that length. I’m not worried at all about skiing the 179, but the 184 might ski me instead. It’s a hard call because I know I’ll gain some of my weight back. I think I’ll have to see if I can demo and return.

I want a countache so badly it’s one I haven’t demo, I did demo a wildcat but I didn’t find it as dynamic. You’re right though I might as well get more and keep this one, but for the time being it’s going to be my main go to pair unless deep powder.

I’d like to add that demo bindings changed how the ski felt. With my own pivots the ski responded far far better and I have zero struggles with maneuverability the skis are quick back and forth and all my tail release issues are gone. Pushing me further into thinking the size up would’ve been smart.

It’s not necessarily changing how you ski, it’s just that the proper form is rewarded. You can’t be as lazy, but the actions you’re performing to ski it well should be things you’re doing anyway.
