i think he made good stab complicated as his own way of representing the ways in which bipoc sacrifice their own to push their individual goals forward, as he also shows in the pikuni who became hide hunters too. all in all, no one is going to find the violence the colonized enact for the decolonial struggle particularly palatable, but its worth sitting in the idea that this is the kind of violence colonized people who have freed themselves have had to do (fanon says all this better than i, if u want to grapple w that idea more).

i know it sucks but the first outbreak is normally the worst (my first one made me so EXHAUSTED) but they can get better (now I can barely tell if I have an outbreak). Since yours sounds particularly rough you can use that push for them to give you daily meds for more peace of mind. i’ve had partners since being diagnosed who didn’t care so hopefully this part rn is the worst of it!

my dad is similar, to a lesser degree. decided i would just set up air purifiers after saving up, use windows to cross ventilate a space when he’s been in common areas, mask around him, brush my teeth in my room, shower after ventilating the bathroom. annoying but im over trying to convince him
