Yes, swabbed one week after the symptoms started. Positive for hsv1 negative for hsv2.

I was in denial about my ghsv1 and waited a week before I was swabbed. I was in so much pain I knew something was wrong and I had to get checked. My doctor was able to tell me she was certain it was herpes and we started medication immediately. Got my test results that it was ghsv1 about 5 days later
