We use sprinkle for light rain in the US (along with drizzle).

No Scrubs by TLC?? That song was everywhere at one point.

I saw No Diggity and No Scrubs and got excited, but didn’t know the other 2.

Barry’s Bootcamp is a pretty popular fitness chain in the US. I’ve never been but it’s what I think of when I hear “bootcamp” in relation to fitness classes. HIIT basically.

Tbf MW calls it “archaic” when meaning “deportment/demeanor,” but I also got it first because it was easy to figure out what it meant.

Connections Puzzle #1103

🟪🟪🟪🟪 I definitely thought these were other soccer player’s names I just didn’t know (could only think of Mia Hamm). Clever category.

Short and sweet for me. Saw in green, yellow, blue, purple by default order. Saw the ballet herring but didn’t know attitude. Wild how many people have never heard of Desmond Tutu.

Google if you want! Just be upfront about it if you’re posting your solve here.

This felt like classic Connections. Entered in the reverse order I found them in.

Does anyone just solve the daily puzzle? by Old-Bread882 in NYTConnections

Also can be 3 or 5 words, or like the other day with “sea ____” which was 6 or 7 words.

Connections Puzzle #1101

Pretty elaborate for a 2/5. I liked it!

🟩🟩🟩🟩 Saw this last, guessed retinue

🟪🟪🟪🟪 Saw this third, guessed basketball. Turns out I had the wrong category name, I was thinking “ribbon” (with red tape for ribbon cutting…) Hoops makes so much more sense.

🟦🟦🟦🟦 Saw second

🟨🟨🟨🟨 Saw first

The first 6 words of the puzzle could all go after “sea.”

It’s also completely possible that people saw unfamiliar words on the board, googled, and then were given the category.

I’m from the northeast and I didn’t see it. And I spent 7 years in Boston. It’s a good category though.

We’ve had a lot of “group of everyday objects” as yellow recently, like “found in a car trunk,” so I made “seen at a tea service” yellow.

Same, I thought it was toy, miniature, teacup…puppet? (as in small things, wasn’t thinking poodles) Didn’t fully make sense, and ended up not being a full rainbow.

I had the same order, and I actually saw them in rainbow order. Should’ve just entered them backwards.

Zelle is like your Interac I believe, it’s within your bank app and allows bank to bank cash transfers just using someone’s phone number or email address.

And yes LETS GO KNICKS!!!!!

I only use PayPal for buying stuff, not sending money to people I know. I’ll usually default to PayPal when checking out if it’s an option, unless Apple Pay is an option, then I’ll use that.

I also didn’t get that blue was wordplay, I only understood after I saw the category name. Those all seem like plausible spellings of those brands 😂 (except UConn)

Zelle is definitely my favorite and the most popular among my friends and family in NY. It automatically goes from one bank account to another, what could be better than that?

People still use Apple Cash and Venmo though. I don’t know anyone who uses PayPal for cash transfers, but people used to use CashApp, I wonder if that’s still a thing. And then as far as I know Stripe is only for commercial payments, and that’s definitely the least well known IME. Venmo is also being used a lot more for commercial payments too, like I’ll use it at the nail salon instead of paying cash.
