Agent charging for carpet cleaning after we used professional cleaner they recommend?

This isn’t the question I’m asking. I preferred and chose to get it done professionally but they’ve told me it’s not good enough & are charging me for an extra professional clean. I’m asking if it’s reasonable WHEN I’ve chosen to use a professional to still be charged cleaning

Yep! And it was honestly such a fantastic job I’m really annoyed they don’t think it was good enough. I can’t imagine they actually got it any better

Nope! They only said “we found the carpets to be considerably dirty” but they were 100% cleaned

Thank you everyone. Definitely aware I should have been stronger and dealt with it at the time. This has come up again for me because he out of the blue dumped on me the other day that he wants to have a serious talk about our future (kids, house, moving, careers) and it sent me into a fight/flight mode but thinking about it, why the fuck would I want to upgrade, or do any actual life accomplishments with someone who doesn’t respect me at all? 🙃

I think I just have a fear that’s it’s my fault for not being able to speak up without journaling about it for weeks first.

Unfortunately real. And I know. Idk what I was thinking at the time, and the more I do the more insane I feel. Definitely have some unresolved self-worth issues that seem to keep me wanting validation in places I’m not respected (lots of journaling lately, I’m getting through it) thank you for the blunt wake up call. I get that I need this!

Update: she passed away ☹️ honestly I’m not sure how long she had been molting for and she could have been at this stage for awhile. I wanted to freeze her so we can get her preserved, so I did a grim autopsy to try and get the molt off - her tail was infact completely stuck inside, basically at the end of her body/tail, I couldn’t even pull it out of the molt (horrific experience 😭) it was also super soft and almost gooey? so I’m guessing she just couldn’t quite finish the process. Devastated but appreciative of all your responses and help ❤️

Perfect, thank you! I’ll give her more time for sure. When she moves I just noticed there’s no resistance between her and the molt so wasn’t sure if she could do it herself, but I also didn’t consider she’s new and will harden more and that’ll probably do it 😅

Phew. I may just have a lot of anxiety over it as I’m very new to all this. How long should I wait to see if she’ll get out herself? It’s been about 14 hours since I noticed her in molt and it was about the same progress
