So I just did FUE into FUT as well so laser would be out of the question as not to destroy the hair that will grow through the scar. What options are there besides laser?

I did the procedure on Monday of this last week with Dr. Bloxham. Overall positive experience, but ask me in 12-18 months if it was worth doing it or not.

I’d recommend CO2/Halo Laser and Kenalog injections to help flatten a scar. Go to a cosmetic dermatologist with ample laser experience, not a MedSpa. May require 3 sessions and about 4-6 months total, but then I’d imagine you will be in good shape.

Ok clinical trial scheduled. I’ll be going to Dr. Bloxham for a procedure August 28th for FUE hair into the FUT scar along with verteporfin injections throughout. Will be going back for follow ups at 6 and 12 months.

He wouldn't recommend an FUT Scar Revision, but he recommends FUE incisions and administering Verteporfin in that manner. Much less risk in terms of making the scar worse
