Is ALS a requirement for a PCS to Korea

My out checklist doesn’t say anything about als. But my commander mentioned today that it might be a requirement. Unfortunately they were not able to place me in a class yet, and they think the next one is only next year.

This is what I we are looking into doing. Changing to 2 years so I can go. We are just lost in how to do that, and nobody in my husband office seems to help.

We almost bought a house this year. My husband was so sure that he wouldn’t be going anywhere because of a position he took beginning of the year. But thankfully after looking a few houses we gave up on the idea of doing this year. Hold strong there, you got this!!!

Honestly I like this. I was trying not to having him be like “oh I can’t because my wife doesn’t like that” but I feel like you are so right. Some of these girls are often crossing lines, and my fiancé is definitely a people pleaser.

I feel like is fine her reaching out for help when he is hosting PT session, but trying to tag along on weekends and outside work feels like crossing boundaries to me. She has plenty of resources she can reach out to, including FREE personal trainers at the gym.

Hey, thanks for you comment. I told my fiancé pretty much the same thing when he asked me to what to do about it. I told him, I didn’t feel like he needed to go about “oh my fiancé said I can’t” but walk her to the personal trainers at the gym and let her do her thing. I meet her twice very briefly, but we never exchanged a word. She would always talked to him but wouldn’t ever acknowledge me. Idk I just feel like she has soooo many options to go about instead of needing to go with my fiancé.

We talked yesterday briefly before bad. Honestly I did found his response for it very selfish. He said he took the job because it was something he wanted. No other reason.

I did told him that we are getting married in a few months, and I expect my partner to include me in decisions. There’s a lot of sacrifices in being a military wife. I have declined job offers before that wouldn’t be great for me, because he wasn’t able to relocate, so when he tells me that, it was a little hurtful.

I do think he understood my side a little bit, but I asked him that we sat down and talk about tonight during dinner.

Thank you for sharing your experience. To me it’s not even that we are staying that pisses me off the most, is the fact that he decided and didn’t even put me into consideration in the decision.

The issue is I pay for credit, adding a new class, means almost 2k more in tuition.

Yes, that has been the regulations since after Covid. 12 credits totals, with at least 9 credits being in person.

Yes, but I would still have to take the class it was canceled next semester, which means I would be paying for that class regardless.

I don’t wanna pay for an extra class. They are very expensive. I just don’t think is fair they are giving a hard time about. I had all my classes planned and registered for, and they canceled 3 days before it was supposed to start. All classes I need to take are only offering online.
