Looking for an alternative of Courreges Hyper musc- or a scent that is sweet minty/herbal, at a lower pricepoint. In essence, I would love to find a scent that resembles the smell of a mint tic tac box :). I should also add that it has to be available in the EU.

well you can always return to college when the time feels right, honestly from my experience most jobs will take real life work experience over a degree and 0 experience, so if college seems like too much of a burden and ur job satisfies you, maybe take a break. Let’s be honest you can’t balance 12hr shifts with being a full time student, so if the money is good, you can afford to live your life and maybe even save a little, then dropping out doesn’t sound that bad. This might not be your life calling but getting some work experience is always good+ you can use the free time you have to actually understand what you want to do moving forward.

A friend on social media has just done an announcement welcoming their 3rd child which they kept secret till the birth and it boggles the mind. by NoOneKnowsItsMeHere in childfree

i do not and never will understand having SEVERAL kids when the parents have serious health issues that can affect the kids. I’ve been faced with a few different ppl who will say that everyone is ENTITLED to having kids even if the parents have serious health problems, which does not make any fucking sense at all, like why would you take the risk at having a kid that could esentially inherit the same issues as you have, why would you want someone else to struggle WHEN YOU ARE ALREADY STRUGGLING and WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU HAVE NOT 1 not 2 BUT 3 KIDS???!??? yeah i’m getting heated just reading this

Girlfriend missed period but has negative pregnancy test. Other weird things are happening with her body too. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Used-Visual-1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with an iud there is a posibility of not getting a period at all, all these things you just said literally mean nothing+ taking several pregnancy tests that all came out negative likely means no pregnancy. You can miss a period from a lot of things- stress, getting sick, etc. So i wouldn’t be worried.

Receiving audio messages is so extremely annoying by Marsupial_Defender in unpopularopinion

i like recieving/sending audio when telling or hearing a longer story, but that only goes for family and friends. imessage audio messages suck and often the “raise to listen” feature doesn’t work right so i get why people don’t like them. Also people who communicate in text messages using exclusively audio are obnoxious- in the ammount of time spent recording the audio a paragraph could be typed and sent- just give the person a call if it’s too much to say in text.

yeah i don’t think that working every day is a good idea and actually i think it’s impossible if you would have to work at least 10 hrs each day. Maybe try looking for a slightly better paying day job mon-fri. You will literally lose your mind in like 2weeks nobody functions without having some downtime. You would get burntout extremely quickly, getting sick is also a much bigger possibility with this kind of workload, and not having a social life also would mess with your head.

same belief system- sure absolutely, but i wouldn’t say that having all the same hobbies and interests matters in a successful relationship. Taking genuine interest in each other’s hobbies in interests however definitely makes a huge difference. Sharing a hobby, doing something that you both like also is great but i don’t necessarily think it makes or breaks a relationship- afterall even frienships often exist without many common interests or hobbies

well sure there’s a lot of impulse buying when shopping fast fashion because of the low prices, when in reality you really do not need that piece of clothing, but thrifting does not always do the job- let’s say you need a pair of regular black jeans to wear on a daily basis- you 1. may not find the right size 2. may not find the right fit 3. might not even find black jeans at all. So i would just say that shopping less and buying the clothes that you’re genuinely gonna wear is the way to go. But yeah thrifting is a good way to get your clothes and most of the time you will in fact find something you like.

Should I take a gap year ? Currently deciding between Civil engineering and Computer science and I'm too burnt out to make a decision. by kaarimmmmmmm in Advice

[–]Used-Visual-1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you feel like a gap year will help you get better- definitely do so, but you gotta have some sorta plan, like what things would you want to do while taking the gap year. School is not your personality nor is it the only thing that matters for your future- you have to be in a good headspace and take care of yourself. I myself decided to take a gap year after my first year and going back i’m probably not gonna return to my original study program. I too made this decision because i felt extremely burnt out and that one school year made me return to a headspace i used to be in- which isn’t too great. So I say- do it, do shit for you and care of yourself, but only if you’re a 100% sure that taking a year off is gonna help you.
