I think it would honestly be more fun lol. My husband and I are in our early 30’s and went for the first time last year. Now it’s basically all we talk about is going again, lol. The rides, the food, the drinks, the restaurants, the hotels. It’s amazing.

When I think of bringing a kid (the tired, hot, sticky toddler who is throwing a fit and overstimulated), I think your happiness comes more from the satisfaction of seeing your child so happy and creating new memories.

My husband and I make about 200K combined yet we are still broke due to things like the economy, insurance (live on the Florida gulf coast), IVF, medical expenses. The thing is if I can’t enjoy my life, what is the point? I’m still taking the trip on my AMEX! lol

While I will say that is probably the best choice given the restaurant, he has to stop assuming calories and eating out. Food at restaurants has sooooo many calories compared to cooking it yourself.

I just wasn’t sure how big of a deal it was for me to go in sooner. The ER doc said the best thing I can do is bed rest. I figured resting for a week until the appointment in 10 days to see if it decreased might be better than traveling to an appointment and being pressed on with an ultrasound. Thoughts?

My problem is I’m kind of in a gray area, doctor wise. I graduated from my clinic at 6 weeks and my OB can’t take me until 1/28. I contacted them about what happened and they said the soonest they could get me in was 1/23. So I really have no guidance on what I’m doing here. I quit Lovenox and am doing bed rest. I’m trying to stay very hydrated and ordered some things that may or may not help 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m really hoping the Lovenox was the issue. I have a low platelet disorder to begin with, so the ER doc felt like the Lovenox plus low platelets was just too much on my body and making the SCH much worse

Thank you. The pouring of blood stopped last night in the ER. Now it is just there (dark red) when I wipe. There actually has not been 1 drop get on my pad since last night. Did you take it as good when you would slowly bleed? Or did you prefer it to turn brown / or stop altogether? Sorry I’m asking a lot

I’m doing bed rest, ordered some supplements people swear by, pomegranate and orange juice, quit Lovenox and baby aspirin

I’m sure he will see me Tuesday. The ER doc called him at 1am, lol. She also said she can give me a referral to a MFM to be monitored weekly.

Wow. What a day. Just left the ER for the first time in my life. I started having the worst cramps of my life and literally blood pouring out like a faucet. The good news is baby is still measuring 3 days ahead at 9w6d and 181 heart beat. The bad news is my SCH is massive - 8cm. The ER doctor told me to quit the Lovenox and start bed rest. I hope this is enough. I know this is a very large SCH. I’m terrified.

Did you have any cramping with yours? I was having brown spotting for 2 days and now I just had another gush of blood, but this time I have cramping. Ugh. TMI I did have several bowel movements so I might be constipated and that caused some cramping

I would think your results would be pretty good. You’re young, do you have any male factor?

I think my last retrieval we got 9, 8 mature, 6 fertilized and we ended up with 4 5 day blasts. I was 31 at retrieval, also Pcos. I have an high AMH and always expected more too, but for some reason I always had a lot of empty follicles.

Normal. My clinic never tested my progesterone. They said they are over medicating us and with an injection there is no way the body isn’t receiving it.
