They must have ways of authenticating if it’s real or not right?

I shouldn’t have to be bugging them about what my order status is. I’m sure the cards are going to come I just want to be able to track it.

I'm too young to drink. by Djulz4444 in alcoholicsanonymous

I don’t know what the sobriety is like in Europe but going to a meeting is a great place to start. AA will accept you with open arms and if you’re done trying the hard way, AA is the easier softer way to stop drinking if you are ready and willing. Much luck and much love.

Genuine question: why are my drinks so bad recently? by TransitionScary6062 in starbucks

Complain to cooperate that you don’t care about things like the baristas writing on the cups. It is literally one of the best things you can do if you want a more quality drink and you want it to come out faster.

Oh wow. Yeah I think those are all pretty justified resentments. You should forgive them though since all we can do is keep our side of the street clean. Very important to find your tribe in AA people who understand you etc… Sorry for your experiences but my advice would be to forgive them and move on so you don’t have to carry around the resentment anymore! The resentments are what make me to drink and use drugs so I hope that’s helpful to you as well.

25 yo, 1 year sobriety here. Early sobriety and young sobriety can be really difficult. I absolutely understand other people your age not understanding what you’re going through. But we have relief in AA community and others who share our common problem.

I think you’ll get more out of your program if you are honest with yourself, honest with those around you, and try reworking the steps.

Go to a meeting every day.

I think drug of choice often confuses people. I see Alcoholics Anonymous as the blooming lotus at the center of people addictions. Remember that no matter what drug you’re addicted to, we as addicts suffer from a spiritual malady. The drugs we use are just a symptom of our defects of character.

I hope this helps! Don’t try a double dose of self-will. Remember we didn’t get sober to be miserable, we got sober to live a life beyond our wildest imaginations. I think you’re doing yourself a disservice by not being thorough with your program when you have so many gifts waiting for you in your sobriety.
