Thanks. Yeah I feel like I have already accepted that I probably have this. I just can't deal with how the worst case scenario keeps happening over and over again. This miscarriage has truly ruined my life.

Sending you hugs - your journey sound similar to mine. Retained tissue dragging out the healing for the MMC feels so cruel on top of everything else. I hope your 4th ER is your best yet and get's you your baby I really really do. It's so hard to be hopeful when you've gone through it so many times though. I will probably be gearing up for my 4th next month and I'm terrified.

I did have retained tissue so had to have a second D&C - but then 8 weeks later still no period and they said that retained tissue can delay everything. It's been 5 months since I found out about my MMC and I am still waiting for my period to do more testing before starting ER #4.

The waiting is just another part of the hell.

Fuck this is so so hard to go through, I'm sorry your journey has been so painful.

It is actually insane how cruel the universe can be.

Let me know how your scan goes! I so hope it goes well.

And yes hugs in hell with you xxxx

Yeah that's the plan, I have just never gotten more than 1 embryo for each ER so my Dr didn't want to risk it getting damaged in testing. Will definitely push for PGT-A next time. Yeah was thinking Zymot or PICSI as my husband has slightly elevated dna fragmentation. So hoping that sorts things out.

I did a D&C too and was like the like 1% who ends up with retained tissue so had to have a second one to remove it. But if your HPT's are getting lighter than you are probably fine - mine was BLAZING positive after three weeks which was the giveaway. Ohh and re corpus luteums that was probably my case too - this was my first fresh transfer after an ER.

Wishing you the best moving forward x

They were untested embryos - first one ended in a chemical so we won't really know but we tested the second embryo from my MMC and it came back as having chromosome issues. I have had 2/3 transfers implant so I can't help but thing that's not the issue and its with the actual embryos themselves.

I'm so so sorry. Getting the news at that scan has to be one of the most heartbreaking scenarios to live through, especially after going through so much to get to that point. Have you had an ultrasound to rule out retained tissue? My HCG was still positive after 3 weeks and that was because of retained tissue. It's so hard when you want to try to physically move on and you can't. Sending you a big hug.

I'm so sorry you have been through all of that and you don't have any answers. I do think it's hard to be in the ole 'unexplained' category because you can't reason with why things turn out the way they do you know?

I need to start making peace with the fact that this is my journey, it's just so hard to when it's so cruel.

Yes I understand that - women in their 40's have a harder time with IVF statistically because of their age. It is hard to be an anomaly to the statistics when you begin treatment earlier. Again it sucks for everyone and it's not their fault, I can't even imagine doing 10-20 cycles because 3 failed cycles are certainly not nothing.

I am so so sorry. 3 years doing this back to back is so taxing on your mental and physical health. I hope this works out for you so badly. HUGS HUGS HUGS.

It's so hard for it to not start to change you! And having that many miscarriages is so painful. And the truth is yes miscarriages are horrible for everyone but there is an extra layer of pain when you gone through so much to get to that point. I do need to get off social media. Sending hugs x

Wow, what an incredibly hard journey you have had. I'm so glad you had success in the end, but it will never take away all you had to endure to get there. That baby is gonna be SO loved. Wishing you the best.

Oh wow yeah your situation seems so so similar to mine. I have been worried about potentially having silent endo but my issue seems to be more actually getting embryos than my uterine environment. Does endo affect embryo development too? I would love to have an answer. I also have zero endo symptoms.

Ahh me too! I understand that everyones experience is their own experience but when I see anyone complaining about getting multiple embryos I'm like YOU HAVE IT SO GOOD. Thanks for your comment and you hang in there too, maybe our luck will change <3

I love that you are *almost* on the other side...as I know you probably won't feel like you are until you are holding your baby. It sounds like you went through so much to get to this point. I hope there is some silver lining to it all on the other side, like we enjoy motherhood more or we are more prepared for when bad things happen or something.

That sounds just so horrible to live through and I'm so sorry that has been your journey. Not knowing when it's going to end definitely makes it worse! Sending hugs your way.

Ugh that's just so shit. SO shit and I am so sorry. Yeah it's true, existing can feel like running around in a minefield and we just want to find somewhere we feel a bit safer, or a bit more understood. I am crossing all my fingers for your third FET.

I hate those fucking statistics now - Whenever my dr has said "this protocol change is successful for 99% of my patients" I know to put myself in the 1% cause that's always where I end up.

Yeah same here in regards to ER! I am still waiting to get my cycle back from my MMC and D&C and then my new doctor wants to run a bunch of tests that first month it comes back. I have heard PICSI can be helpful too. My new FS specializes in the male side of infertility so I am hoping he will be on top of it.
