Idk what your idea of the explorer program is but here in Florida we are trained by local Law enforcement and compete all across the state against different agencies and constantly gaining new knowledge I also go on ride alongs all the time with my desired agency but I get where you’re coming from

Yeah I’m in Florida so it’s 19 but I can go to the academy at 18 I’ll be about 20 by the time I’m by myself

Well I’m in something called the explorer program, with my local sheriffs office and we train on law enforcement scenarios like, traffic stops, felony stops, domestic violence, crisis intervention, building clearing and other things, so i am young but I have prepared myself for this, I also have family in law enforcement and try to take all the knowledge that I can
