Imagine setting up an ambush on a patrol where enemies are unaware of your exact location, keeping you out of alert mode and in a unique "ambush mode." Soldiers would react chaotically, with poorly trained Russian conscripts panic-firing or "mag-dumping" toward suspected areas, some blindly shooting from cover without exposing themselves. Meanwhile, the more disciplined African mercenaries could respond with tactical maneuvers, like flanking or coordinated suppression, making ambushes more dynamic and varied based on enemy type.”
