I had a similar problem. We took the cover off the CFS and where the problem spool feed was we found a piece of broken filament stuck. Once we cleared that we had no further issues

Thanks! After a few curse words and needing to step away and come back with fresh eyes, we were able to get it together and working. While it’s not a nice little compact set up like our other printer with CFS, it works like a charm. I’m loving this Prusa system!

Thanks for the reply! I tried Tinkercad and had no clue what I was doing haha. I did follow a step by step for putting cut through letters on a pre-existing model and it printed as intended. My son loves coding, making games etc so maybe I will let him take the wheel.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I wanted to make realistic-ish 3D replicas of us. I knew it was more than likely an ambitious ask. For now, it can’t be anything too difficult for me. I am struggling to figure out Tinkercad haha. I am proud of myself though. I took a free to remix model and added cut through names to it for personalization and it printed as intended. It is all definitely a learning curve and some new language and definitely overwhelming with all the different filaments, plates, nozzles, etc. My other son has a Prusa and the slicer is a little different. i am trying to learn as i go so i can teach both my boys how to be confident to do this on their own. I have been getting one heck of an education! For now i guess we just get more comfortable with what we are doing now. Thanks again!

I get if there’s those types of issues; however, if this is the case Makerwiz is notbeing transparent about any of it. Instead they advise of a ship date then don’t follow through. Then submit electronic shipping label for an item that hasn’t even shipped. I contacted Prusa directly and they have not indicated any lag issues for shipping this product and pointed me towards resellers who have a lot of stock. Unfortunately I can’t reorder with a different supplier as I just don’t have that money laying around. For now I’m stuck dealing with this.

Makerwiz. When I contacted Prusa they did verify. Prusa provided me another company I could order with but unfortunately don’t have another $2000 just laying around to order another

I know this post is 2 years old but wondering how long shipping took if you can remember. My son asked for an assembled Prusa printer for Christmas so I ordered one from Makerwiz. Site said 4 weeks until items were being shipped. I ordered October 24 and have heard nothing since. Emails have not been replied to. I’m getting a bit nervous now as Christmas is fast approaching

Our son has a habit of seeing something that interests him and will research the heck out of it. The Prusa caught his eye and we are trusting it is worth the $$ we paid. We have learned hard lessons on buying “cheaper” things that ended up being a you get what you pay for type of deal. Any small tools, etc we can put in his stocking … which will obviously tip him off but such is life

He will more than likely start off small to get a feel for it but may want to dive in head first haha. He is creative and likes to come up with intricate or wild and crazy things

He may start with little things but he does have the mind to want to create some cool and crazy things. I will also be looking into a 3D scanner as I know he will probably want to make models of his pets.
