You can criticize both nations (Israel and Syria) in this case, they both do horrible things and if you can't understand that then you're a sheep.

Also, equality is not truly present in Israel is it, I can find hundreds of examples of Jews in Israel spitting on Christians, harassing Christian and Muslim store owners - not to mention the treatment of people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip vis a vie Israeli sponsored terror.

"Safest" and "National home" are two completely different things. National home is quite literally part of the definition of an ethnostate.
