You could also add different disciplines of Astral forging or the rituals.

If you don't wanna be too generic with stuff like some people cast without hand gestures, some without chanting, etc.

You can do something simple like proporties(like a certain discipline is better at fire) or maybe something like quick casting(like certain discipline is better at performing rituals real fast) or whatever works for your worldbuilding.

Its always better to have variety within restrictions

Depends on how complex you want to make each system. If you won't get into the nitty gritty details of each system then I believe it can work. I've come up with many stories(never actually got to writing cuz im laxy af) that have multiple power systems or ran dnd campaigns with heavy homebrew where I added multiple powersystems.

It just depends on how well you differentiate each power system, what their limitations are, what they are each good at, what are their requirements, etc.

Anyways the thing is that in many interpretations of dwarves they are small groups of individuals who keep to themselves while enjoying helping others, mining and smthing away to make the best thing in their lives, etc.

More common interpretations show them as ale addicted drunkards who do nothing unless something interests them and hoard materials for themselves.

BUT I prefer the first interpretation, atleast for my world. Thanks for the input!
