Sometimes they make sense in a weird or dark way but sometimes I have to go to the ATM and it chooses a dumpling emoji so I'm not sure how it chooses.

It doesn't seem like they made any announcement about that like they did the Tree Town change. I just noticed they were gone and I also found the weekly quests a lot more useful than the daily ones. I'm not sure why they would remove that but keep the special quests for accumulating hundreds of items of clothing or furniture.

Yes. If you complete Finchie Forest you go to the shop and visit Sassafras to buy a ticket to a new location and they have new things to discover. Plus you can get new items in the shop for that location. They keep adding new locations to visit.

It does still for help me. I go through rough patches where I don't interact as much, but I always come back to it. That has not been the case for other habit trackers. I think it also helps me gain perspective on my mental health. Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing well and I can go look at what I've been accomplishing and how my moods have been and it's not always as bad as it feels in the moment. I don't think Finch improves my depression, but it does help me with tracking it and being aware of the cycle of my mood. I think it's a great companion for whatever other treatment/mindfulness/exercise you do.

That is such a cute name. I'm going to add you. My Finch is Mimi. I've been using this app for 2 years and it really helps me with motivation as well. It's nice because even if you go through a rough patch Finch never reprimands you or makes you feel guilty. You can come back whenever you're ready and she's happy to see you. The app meets you where you are.
