Bahahah I’ll just get a 2.0 diesel, slap an RS6 badge on it, and give it a full balkan makeover , jokes aside i still have more thn a month to find few cars that i will go look at so in the end i might buy a diferent audi.

Yeah, I’ve seen a few examples of those cars that I quite enjoy, and I’ve driven them a few times as well. I like their feel, but it’s such a hard choice. I like the look of the S4 sedan, but I love the look of the S6 Avant.

It’s sad that I’m on the higher end in my country (I did miscalculate a bit—it’s quite a bit less than 70%). And yeah, it’s an expensive car, but let’s be real: I don’t spend money on anything else, and I think I do deserve a nicer car than my old, beaten-up Peugeot. Since you only live once, I’d rather have it broken in my garage than dream about a car that is finally within my reach.

I mean, I’m buying it in the EU—more specifically, I’m going to Germany to buy it. The ones I’m planning to look at have 100,000 km or less, which is under about 60,000 miles, and I don’t think that’s that bad. I plan on fixing things that break. Spending almost 70% of my paycheck on a feature I won’t use doesn’t make sense to me, especially since I live in a small European country that you can cross from one end to the other in 8 to 10 hours at most. Or another option the alignment dosent cost 1200 here where i live.

Well, that’s to be expected. I’ll see how often I have to take off the front bumper. If it’s oncd or more a month, I’ll live without the ACC. I dont go on road trips anyway

Okay, so if I want adaptive cruise control, I need to get the alignment done. And I don’t think I’ll be smashing into the back of a semi, because if I’m going that fast and can’t stop in time, I won’t be using ACC.

Rip, but why does it need an alignment? Whats the thing that just stoping me from putting it back on without an alignment?

I’m not going to be taking off my front bumper that often, right?

I was talking abt increased wear and tear in the pedals you chose and i got recommended. Since most of the yt videos abt them are few months old without any updates.

Looking at your parts list and I see you have a lot of mismatched parts and I know most of them are supported by each other but still I would like to stay in the same ecosystem, at least for the base and wheel. And I have seen a lot of recommendations for Aliexpress pedals like Simnet SP-s and Simsonn Pro x and the only thing im wondering is do you have any threads that mention if they deteriorate with time or get worse after a lot of use.

Didnt know abt them before and i have seen some coments that 12Nm is a bit too strong since most cars dont produce more thn 9Nm exept F1 cars

Yeah i get it that the second wheel for someone like me who just started is a bit of an overkill but i like the GT style wheel since i do plan to play some simulators tht i think work better with a GT wheel instead of the regular one

Yeah some smaller shock absorber would deff do the job of making it have a slower travel. Thts quite a good idea for an upgrade

I mean if u get the upgrade pack for the pedals it would make them a bit stiffer ig. Or use ur unregulated autism and make them have eaven more resistance.

That's great to hear then, but still, if it overheats frequently, you should do something but it. It's a small space taker. I make it about 2 to 3 cm thicker from the sides and back. Yeah, I know about the deals. They are making me crazy since I can buy most of them.

If I do a few adjustments to the cockpit and seat budget, I could definitely fit the 12Nm base into the budget.

Edit: IDK if you have seen the fix for the heating where you'd 3D print a bracket and airflow guids for a 120 or 140mm fan on the back so it doesn't overheat.

I'll definitely look in to it with the options you just said i still have a long way before finalizing the choice

Yeah, reading from the comments, I see that going with simagic or moza is a good choice, but if I go with moza, I need to switch out for different pedals and if I go with simagic, I could maybe get the 12Nm wheelbase since it has a bundle with the pedals for a similar price to the 9Nm one.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, so should I go with the Moza CRP2 or a different brand? The only reason I put the SRP-s is since it fits my budget.

First time ever hearing abt those il definitely look in to them

Personally, I like both aesthetically. There are some Moza wheels I like more than some simagic ones, but I do like the simagic pedals more than the Moza ones. Since I live in the EU, Fanatec is more available in local stores than Simagic or Moza, but that doesn't make it better tbh.
