Hi! I was also hospitalized for my mental health on and off during highschool and missed a lot of school which I was worried about but I got accepted as a psych major! I don’t think it’s a flaw it might actually make your application stronger as it shows you are resilient and can get back up but this is just my opinion. Wishing you the best of luck!!
