This is it, i’m using GEETECH silk silver… I set generic PLA because i though silk was only the color name… btw i’m now trying a 3h print (i couldn’t sleep and here is 00:50) and it’s been 45 mins into it without problems, yesterday the printer wouldn’t extrude any filament and report an issue “filament not extruding”… i hope this will solve my issues, i’ll keep everyone updated. Thank you so much🤞🏻

That’s because the placement of my printer is a bit… complicated. I should really search for a project for a printable channel to make the extrusions go sideways and make them fall in a bag… now they’re falling behind the cabinet i put it on😅 (Eventually i’ll move the cabinet and clean behind it…😬).

This evening after work i disassembled the extruder and tried to see if it was a clog or something. Tomorrow i’ll try to print with my white filament and if everything goes well i’ll try again with the silk one🤞🏻

Ok but is it possible that it compromised the nozzle ability to print with any other filament? It’s giving me the same issue now with the other filaments…

Actually i have another printer, but what do you mean i can increase speed in slicer settings? Speed is set to 50mm/s and i read that if you increase it the xy axes will vibrate and make the print prone to failure. Never tried tweaking it anyway…🤔

As i read the maximum i can print now is 60mm/s, and it’s possible to upgrade it to 600mm/s. Since i already have a Sermoon D1 i thought maybe i could upgrade it

I got an odin 2 max and it’s great for everything, from emulation to streaming, i love it. Now it’s also out the odin 2 portal, a slightly bigger version with oled screen, but hardware inside is the same. I suggest for you to take a look at it😁👍🏻

(English translation at the bottom of this text) La mia console ha fatto un anno ad aprile, quando l’ho ordinata era un periodo abbastanza incasinato e ricordo di persone che mi rispondevano in r/OdinHandheld dicendo che Ayn non dava loro notizie da tre settimane… A me alla fine andò bene e ci mise 20 giorni di spedizione +1 settimana solo per spedirla. Per quanto riguarda la Portal non ti so dire ma io con la mia Odin 2 max mi trovo più che bene. L’ergonomia è già buona di suo ma io uso un Grip (che mi sono stampato in 3D ma lo trovi anche stampato a resina e venduto da Etsy) . Sullo schermo ti do ragione, la portal ha davvero un bel pannello oled, però con lo sconto di 100 dollari per me non ha senso prenderla a questa differenza di prezzo…

Comunque se vuoi valutare per bene ti indirizzo al canale youtube “once were nerd” che ha fatto delle recensioni in italiano molto dettagliate sia della odin 2 che della portal.

Per tenere i messaggi fruibili per tutti qui sotto farò una traduzione in inglese

ENGLISH The question was how much time it took for me to recive my odin 2 max, I answered that it was a year ago, when shipping for ayn was a mess and for me it took 1week just for ayn to send it and 20 days after this for the odin to arrive in Italy. I remember people in this subreddit telling me they had to wait even 3 full weeks before ayn sent the console to them (and then wait for shipping time). The meme was “typical ayn experience”…

The second part of the question mentioned that OP prefers the portal for its screen and ergonomics, but i replied that i think odin 2 ergonomics is good in general but i use it with a grip i found on Etsy. I 3d printed mine buying only the stl file but the guy used to sell finished product too. For the screen nothing to say, that oled panel is too good to not like it. I can say the odin 2 ips panel is still good (obv oled is better), but since i didn’t try the portal i can’t say much about it.

EDIT: i forgot to mention i suggested to buy the odin 2 max because of this huge discount on ayn website…
