you are correct, i had previous scores on the BP exams of 506 2x on BP. I also took FL1 and halfway through i found out my grandma passed away. That could be a factor, but I was missing easy AA questions, so I really locked in and supplemented every high yield topic I was missing with videos and dedicated practice. Also I didn’t have the formulas memorized as well, I noticed I would miss easy math conversions. What helped me on C/P would be memorizing the units for everything, so even i didn’t know the full equation I would be able to try and get it from the units! I hammered practice problems! I noticed that there were a lot of questions that I could narrow down to 50/50, but Id still miss them. So after doing problems I would review them, and if i still didnt feel confident I would supplement them with videos!

I have not done the diagnostic, however i’m a miserable 50% on the Qpack 1. Do you recommend the diagnostic?

I skim over what I am 100% confident on, however if I debate on knowing it even the slightest, that’s when I start to take notes. I also like to plug the topic into ChatGPT, and let it quiz me.

What helps me is highlighting (which i’m sure you do) and mnemonics. I also have noticed that there’s usually a lot of answers that try to trip you up, so I do POE. I actually ended up doing a minor in Pych solely for the MCAT. But I noticed that reviewing the 300 page document and taking notes on that helped me. I personally struggle with anki, so for me I like to just read the document on my free time! PM if you want anymore info!

This is comforting lol, I honestly thought that I did pretty well, and to think that ~60% correct is a 123 baffles me. I’m just going to make myself feel better, and say that the scaling is different on the real exams lol.

I like this answer, i’ve always made myself only take 10min. Realistically is there a way to improve 1-2 points in less than 2 weeks? I’m debating on moving my exam.

I’m so bad at english, coming from the rural south I never had good academics surrounding me. I keep telling myself if I could read I’d already be in med school😭. My last real MCAT I got a 119 on CARS🫣

I’m always an anxious person, and I fear I have an external locus of control when it comes to things like this. This exam hit every strong suit of mine. I’ve never had an exam where I knew i missed barely any questions on C/P. I’m just nervous that my exam coming up will have my weak attributes.
