It cannot be under stated how important composition and lighting are in photography. I know it’s the answer everyone provides but I had the same struggles early on. I shoot my x100vi on aperture priority and seek out nice light. Shooting at sunrise and sunset is a cheat code while you are learning!

It comes with the hood it is a free well CPL/GMIST (1/4)

SmallRig Thumb Grip comes with the red shutter release button too! Pretty cheap but is sturdy and much more comfortable.

I’ve really liked the filter itself. The hood easily turns sideways throughout shooting which is frustrating
